HIS PRICE GIVEN FOR THE
POTTER'S FIELD
Prophecy — Zechariah 11:13 - B.C. 487. Cast it
unto the potter; a goodly price that I was prized of them. And I took the
thirty pieces of silver, and cast them to the POTTER in the house of the Lord.
Fulfillment — Matthew 27:3, 7 A.D. 33. Judas
brought again the thirty pieces of silver to the chief priests and elders . . .
and they brought with them the POTTERS field to bury strangers in.
SMITTEN ON THE CHEEK
Prophecy — Micah 5:1 -B.C. 710. They shall
SMITE the Judge of Israel with a rod, upon the cheek.
Fulfillment — Matthew 27:30 A.D. 33. And took
the reed and SMOTE Him on the head.
SPIT UPON AND SCOURGED
Prophecy — Isaiah 50:6 B.C. 712. I gave my back
to the smiters, and my cheeks to them that plucked off the hair; I hid not my
face from shame and SPITTING.
Fulfillment — Mark 14:65 A.D. 33. And some
began to SPIT on him, and to cover his face, and to buffet him. John 19:1 A.D.
33. Pilate took Jesus and scourged Him.
NAILED TO THE CROSS
Prophecy — Psalm 22:16. They pierced my hands
and my feet.
Fulfillment — John 19:18 A.D. 33. They
crucified Him. John 20:25 A.D. 33 . . . in his hand the print of the nails.
FORSAKEN BY GOD
Prophecy Psalm 22:1. My God, my God, why has
thou FORSAKEN me?
Fulfillment Matthew 27:46 A.D. 33. Jesus cried,
My God, my God, why hast thou FORSAKEN me?
MOCKED
Prophecy —Psalm 22:7, 8. All they that see me
laugh me to scorn, they shoot out the lip, they shake the head, saying, He
trusted on the Lord that He would deliver Him, let Him deliver Him, seeing He
delighted in Him.
Fulfillment — Matthew 27:39-44 A.D. 33. They
that passed by reviled Him, wagging their heads . . . Likewise also the chief
priests mocking Him with the scribes and elders, said, . . . He trusted in God;
let Him deliver Him.
GALL AND VINEGAR GIVEN HIM
TO DRINK
Prophecy —Psalm 69:21. They gave me also GALL
for my meat; and in my thirst they gave me VINEGAR to drink.
Fulfillment — Matthew 27:34 A.D. 33. They gave
Him VINEGAR to drink mingled with GALL.
INTENSITY OF HIS SUFFERING
Prophecy — Psalm 22:14, 15. I am poured out
like water, and all my bones are out of joint; my heart is like wax; it is
melted in the midst of my bowels. My strength is dried up like a potsherd; and
my tongue cleaveth to my jaws; and thou hast brought me into the dust of death.
Fulfillment — Luke 22:42, 44 A.D. 33. Father,
if thou be willing remove this cup from me . . . And being in an agony, He
prayed more earnestly and His sweat was as it were great drops of blood falling
down to the ground.

Prophecy — Isaiah 53:4-6, 12 B.C. 712. Surely
He hath borne our griefs and carried our sorrows . . . He was wounded for our
transgressions. He was bruised for our iniquities. The Lord hath laid on Him
the iniquity of us all.
Fulfillment — Matthew 20:28 A.D. 33. The Son of
man came to give His life a ransom for many.
PATIENCE AND SILENCE UNDER
SUFFERING
Prophecy — Isaiah 53:7 B.C. 710. Yet He opened
not his mouth. As a sheep before her shearers is dumb, so He openeth not his
mouth.
Fulfillment — Matthew 26:63 A.D. 33. Jesus held
His peace.
Matthew 27:12, 14 A.D. 33, "When He was
accused of the chief priests and elders, He answered nothing . . ."

went to Pilate, and begged the body of Jesus . . . . and laid it in His own
tomb
HIS FLESH NOT SEEING
CORRUPTION
Prophecy — Psalm 16:10. For thou wilt not leave
my soul in hell; neither will thou suffer shine Holy One to see CORRUPTION.
Fulfillment — Acts 2:31 A.D. 33. He seeing this
before spake of the Resurrection of Christ, that His soul was not left in hell,
neither His flesh did see CORRUPTION.
HIS RESURRECTION
Prophecy — Psalm 16:10. Neither wilt thou
suffer shine Holy One to see corruption.
Fulfillment — Luke 24:6, 31, 34 A.D. 33. He is
not here, but is risen . . . And their eyes were opened, and they knew Him; and
He vanished out of their sight . . . the Lord is risen indeed.
HIS ASCENSION
Prophecy — Psalm 68:18. Thou hast ascended on
high. Thou hast led captivity captive; thou hast received gifts for men; yea,
for the rebellious also, that the Lord God might dwell among them.
Fulfillment — Luke 24:51 A.D. 33. While He
blessed them, He was parted from them, and carried up into heaven.
SITTING ON THE RIGHT HAND OF
GOD
Prophecy — Psalm 110:1. The Lord said unto my
Lord, SIT thou at my right hand.
Fulfillment — Hebrews 1:3 A.D. 60. When He had
purged our sins . . . sat down on the right hand of the Majesty on high.
THE CHIEF CORNERSTONE OF THE
CHURCH
Prophecy — Isaiah 28:16 B.C. 712. Behold, l lay
in Zion for a foundation a stone, a tried stone, a precious CORNERSTONE, a sure
foundation.
Fulfillment — 1st Peter 2:5-7 A.D. 60. Ye are
built up a spiritual house . . . It is contained in the Scripture, Behold, l
lay in Zion a chief CORNERSTONE, elect, precious . . . the same is made the
head of the corner.
THE CONVERSION OF THE
GENTILES TO HIM
Prophecy — Isaiah 11:10 B.C. 713. There shall
be a root of Jesse, to it shall the Gentiles seek; and his rest shall be
glorious. Isaiah 42:1 B.C. 712. Behold my servant, He shall bring forth
judgment to the GENTILES.
Fulfillment — Acts 10:45 A.D. 41. And they of
the circumcision which believed were astonished, as many as came with Peter,
because that on the Gentiles also was
poured out the gift of the Holy Ghost.
KING OF ZION
Prophecy — Psalm 2:6. I have set my KING upon
my holy hill of Zion.
Fulfillment — John 18:33, 37 A.D. 33. Art thou
the King of the Jews? . . . Thou sayest that I am a KING, to this end was I
born.
