ATTENTIVE

Giving our full attention and consideration to others, respecting them as God's creatures. And when reading God's Word, focusing on it and giving ourselves time to absorb its meaning.

Hebrews 2:1 Therefore we ought to give the more earnest heed to the things which we have heard, lest at any time we should let them slip.

AVAILABLE

Creating space in our lives to worship God and help others. Being willing to make changes to follow a better path.

Mark 1:17-18 And Jesus said unto them, Come ye after me, and I will make you fishers of men. And straightway they forsook their nets, and followed Him.

COMMITTED

Trusting God's path, allowing Him to take control of the direction of your life.

Psalm 37:5 Commit thy way unto the Lord: trust also in him: and He shall bring it to pass.

COMPASSIONATE

Feeling for the needs and challenges of others and treating them with love and respect, as you would wish to be treated.

1 Peter 3:8 Finally, be ye all of one mind, having compassion one of another, love as brethren, be pitiful, be courteous.

CONFIDENT

Trusting that God has given you the power and strength that you need, and that you are capable of making a positive impact on your own life and the lives of others.

Philippians 4:13 I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me.

CONSISTENT

Living every day in accordance with God's principles, trusting that daily actions, even small ones, do the work of the Lord over time.

1 Corinthians 15:58 Therefore my beloved brethren, be ye stedfast unmoveable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, forasmuch as ye know that your labour is not in vain in the Lord.

CONTENT

Accepting and rejoicing in the blessings you have, not desiring or envying what others have.

Philippians 4:11 Not that I speak in respect of wants: for I have learned in whatsoever state I am, therewith to be content.

COOPERATIVE

Working together with members of your faith and community, and accepting help from others.

Ephesians 4:3 Endeavouring to keep the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace.

COURAGEOUS

Finding strength in God's love for you, facing challenges and adversity with hope and determination.

Deuteronomy 31:6 Be strong and of a good courage, fear not, nor be afraid of them: for the LORD thy God, He it is that doth go with thee; He will not fail thee, nor forsake thee.'

CREATIVE

Celebrating and nurturing the talents given to you by God, and using them to provide others with comfort and joy.

1 Timothy 4:14 'Neglect not the gift that is in thee...'

DECISIVE

Accept that God's will is guiding you, and make decisions to follow in his path.

Romans 12:2 And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.

DEPENDABLE

Be a reliable source of comfort and trust to those around you. Be consistent in your performance of good works.

Colossians 1:10 That ye might walk worthy of the Lord unto all pleasing, being fruitful in every good work, and increasing in the knowledge of God.

DETERMINATION

Do not turn away from the path of righteousness. Trust in your inner strength, and do what you can in furthering God's plan.

Hebrews 12:12-13 Wherefore lift up the hands which hang down, and the feeble knees: And make straight paths for your feet, lest that which is lame be turned out of the way.

DEVOTION

Direct your hope and your love to God, recognizing that your love for fellow people and creatures is also a reflection of God's love.

Colossians 3:2 Set your affection on things above, not on things on the earth.

DILIGENT

Do not let your faith waiver. Be watchful for sinfulness in yourself.

Colossians 3:23 And whatsoever ye do, do it heartily, as to the Lord, and not unto men.

DISCREET

Act out of sound consideration and reflection. Take time to form your opinions, and plan your actions thoughtfully.

Psalm 112:5 A good man shewth favour and lendeth: he will guide his affairs with discretion.

EFFICIENT

Make good use of your time by prioritizing choices with the greatest impact.

Ephesians 5:16 Redeeming the time, because the days are evil.

FAITHFUL

Remain loyal and true in your love for God. Out of that love, be steadfast to those who need you on earth.

Matthew 25:21 Well done, though good and faithful servant: thou hast been faithful over a few things, I will make thee ruler over many things.

FAIRNESS

Place yourself in another's position; try to see a situation from all sides and act in a way that is kind to all.

Matthew 7:12 Therefore all things whatsoever ye would that men should do to you, do ye even so to them: for this is the law and the Prophets.

FEARLESS

Take courage from God's love. Know that you have the strength to face adversity boldly.

11 Timothy 1:7 For God hath not given us the spirit of fear: but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind.

FORGIVING

Be willing to make amends and look past offenses done to you, out of universal Christian love. Just as you wish to be forgiven on Judgment Day, be willing to forgive your fellow man.

Colossians 3:13 Forbearing one another, and forgiving one another, if any man have a quarrel against any: even as Christ forgave you, so also do ye.

FRIENDLY

Be kind to all, be willing to form friendships with someone new, and be there to support your friends.

Proverbs 18:24 A man that hath friends must shew himself friendly: and there is a friend that sticketh closer than a brother.

GENEROUS

Remember that what you have is a blessing from God, and be willing to share with others as much as you are able.

Deuteronomy 16:17 Every man shall give as he is able, according to the blessing of the Lord thy God which He hath given thee.

GENTLENESS

Let kindness guide you in your interactions with others. Be patient with minor faults and inconveniences. You'll never regret acting kindly.

11 Timothy 2:24 And the servant of the Lord must not strive; but be gentle unto all men, apt to teach, patient.

GODLINESS

Everyone has a share of God's nature, and when we act out good works, we act with Godliness.

111 John 11 He that doeth good is of God: but he that doeth evil had not seen God.

HONEST

Telling the truth to others and ourselves. Striving for genuine goodness and not the appearance of it.

11 Corinthians 8:21 Providing for honest things, not only in the sight of the Lord, but also in the sight of men.

HUMBLE

Not letting pride make you see yourself as better than others. Remembering the power of God's grace, not our own actions, over all things.

1 Peter 5:5 Likewise ye younger, submit yourselves unto the elder. Yea, all of you be subject one to another, and be clothed with humility: for God resisted the proud, and giveth grace to the humble.

JOYFUL

Letting Christ's love fill you with happiness, and carrying the comfort of that happiness with you always.

Ephesians 5:19 Speaking to yourselves in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing and making melody in your heart to the Lord.

JUST

Following God's laws without exception and dealing with others fairly, without prejudice.

Genesis 6:9 Noah was a just man and perfect in his generations, and Noah walked with God.

KINDNESS

Remembering the love and forgiveness that Christ has given to you, and offering a reflection of that love to others.

Ephesians 4:32 And be kind one to another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God for Christ's sake hath forgiven you.

LOYAL

Staying committed to your faith and to causes that you take on in the Christian spirit.
